Anyway.. these few days i keep watchin
a few vids on Ytube from the show
"Britains Got Talent"
I noe, maybe some of you oredy watch b4 but i duno...
i jus keep havin this soft spot bout it..

1st off.. the latest of 'BGT 2009'..

A 47 yr old, nvr been married, nvr been kissed, UN-employed lady
who lives in a small province in Scotland with her cat 'Pebbles'...
Before she sang, both the audience and the judges appeared to express
scepticism based on her 'un-starlike' appearance and awkwardness.
But her voice....
1 word....
W O W !!
She sang "I dreamed a dream" from the musical 'Les Miserables'
Which was replied with a STANDING OVATION from the live audience,
gobsmacked faces from the 3 judges...
*which includes the all famous Simon Cowell*
Anyway.. if u watch the 7min clip, she gt into the nxt round.. Duh!!
But nxt round for waaaat... Simon Cowell is said to be having her contracted already..




2nd Contestant... from 'BGT 2007'
Paul Potts



Was a 38 yr old phone salesman whose dream was to become an
OPERA SINGER.
When young he was always bullied which may have influenced his lack of self-confidence
& so he believed that his voice had always been
a source of solace in the past when he was bullied

His version of "Nessun Dorma" jus gives me goosebumps(gd onse)
& to me is as gd as how Luciano Pavarotti & Adrea Bocelli sang it...
Hey!! if a NON-opera listener like me appreciate this
then it shd be really gd rite....
His voice & stamina... 2 Thumbs Up!!
Anyway, STANDING OVATION from the live audience,
smiles & shock from the judges... (no surprise =p)
He won 'BGT 2007' with the prize money of £100,000
& the honour to sing in front of Her Highness, Queen Elizabeth ll.

Connie Talbot



Was a 6 yr old cutie who has never had any singing lessons
& didnt have her "4 front teeth" LoL...
Though everyone expected that she'd be jus cute & funny..
NOONE expected the amazing pitch perfect voice to come from
somethin so small..
Whistles, Screams & Applause all over... She even brought
Amanda Holden, one of the judges, to tears....
Absolutely FANTASTIC!!
It was said that she would have won if not for Paul Potts..
But well, she's still as famous & even debut her own album..
My current favo song tats playin in my blog is her ver of
"Ave Maria" composed by Bach & sung by Charles Gounod.



OVERALL... wat im trying to say is...
1) Never, i repeat, NEVER judge a book by its cover.....
2) Dreaming is gd, dreaming gives you goals to achieve for...
& 3) Its never too Early OR too Late to try out for your dream...
*Unless you sing like Jackson in which case ill say "giv up NOW"*
