Hi Hi,

Ytd(17thNov) i was watchin TV and flipped on a channel about a
Documentary on Healthcare in the US compared to some other countries...
The title is "Sicko", its a 2 hr show and it really change quite a few of my views.
one is, I NVR wana stay in the US.... LoL...

It just upsets me how some medical practitioners can acually DECLINE
to help someone on the brink of DEATH.... sick i tell you... but wat can u expect,
i guess in their country it really is, No $$, No talk.... Even gettin insurance isnt safe..

The documentor*(is there such a name o.0 LoL) Michael Moore went around the US
interviewing ppl who suffered from being declined medical attention, the pain, suffering & loss.
He then travelled to other countries to compare their Medical practice and whether there
was a any difference..
Let me tell you.. he could not believe the HUGE difference. Some of the countries he visited
were Canada, which was a border away from US & how some American actually go there
just to see a doctor cos US doctors wont accept them(& this is illigal fyi),
European countries like France & England. Heck even CUBA had better medical practice
compared to US.

An american lady had some kind of asthma prob and had to pay $1+++.00 a mth JUST for medication. Micheal Moore brought her along with some others to cuba and her meds over there
was $3.++ PESOS!!! which was like wat.. 5CENTS..... she was in tears after she found out... He then brought them to a hospital where they ask for their Name & Birthday ONLY. After that sending them to a ward to proceed with the nessesary check up. & after every test, scan, prescription & consultation(even dental care),
THEY LEFT W/O PAYING A SINGLE CENT!!!
*well of cors i duno what happens behind the scene but still..*

Somehow i feel SG's Medicalcare is somewat same as US.. im not saying its exactly the same,
& maybe its SLIGHTLY better. But after watching this documentary, i seriously hope i
grow old in europe, being old in SG is expensive.

Anyway if you wana watch the show, ive put a link below. its really a MUST see documentary,
it may put some to tear i think. & its seriously hilarious at times.. 2 thumbs up!!!
